Vida Aljada opened today in Sharjah, marking the first appearance of the Vida Hotels & Resorts brand in the emirate and adding a five‑star lifestyle option to the Aljada district developed by Arada. The new property joins a growing portfolio of upscale accommodations that aim to blend modern design with local culture, offering both visitors and residents a fresh hospitality experience. Vida Hotels & Resorts, a key pillar of Emaar Hospitality Group’s lifestyle strategy, brings a contemporary hospitality ethos that has already been successful in other UAE markets, and this debut extends that reach into Sharjah’s lively community.
Ribbon‑cutting ceremony and brand milestone
The launch was marked by a ribbon‑cutting event that gathered senior officials from Emaar Hospitality Group and Arada, along with guests, partners, media and industry participants. The gathering highlighted the strategic importance of extending the Vida concept beyond its existing markets and signaled confidence in Sharjah’s expanding tourism sector.

Situated in the heart of Aljada, the venue sits three minutes from University City and Sharjah Airport Free Zone, and about 15 minutes from both Dubai International Airport and the Sharjah Corniche. Its proximity to cultural, educational and business hubs is intended to serve both leisure and corporate travelers, providing easy access to shopping malls, museums and conference centres.
The hotel offers 175 rooms and suites, including Deluxe King and Twin rooms, Premier Suites and a 305‑square‑metre Penthouse Suite. One‑, two‑ and three‑bedroom serviced apartments cater to longer stays, while similar‑sized residences provide a design‑led option for extended living. Each unit features floor‑to‑ceiling windows, high‑speed internet and contemporary furnishings that reflect the brand’s signature aesthetic.
Dining, wellness and family spaces
Food and beverage are organized into four concepts. Origins provides all‑day dining, Stage2 serves as a café for coffee and casual meetings, True Slice offers artisanal pizza, and Flo provides poolside bites and mocktails on the outdoor terrace. The variety ensures that guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner or a light snack without leaving the property.
