Music composer and artist Vishal Moti Dadlani completed the sale of a commercial property in Mumbai’s Goregaon West for ₹3.34 crore, as confirmed by registration records. Located in the Shalimar Miracle complex, the property features 641 sq ft of carpet area and a total built-up space of 769.51 sq ft.
The sale was registered in October 2026 and involved stamp duty of INR 20.04 lakh and registration charges of INR 30,000. The stamp duty is consistent with the 5 per cent stamp duty and 1 per cent metro cess that apply to property registrations in Mumbai.
Dadlani bought the unit in 2016 for INR 3.25 crore, and the sale price is about INR 9 lakh higher, representing an overall gain of about 2.8 per cent over a decade. This gain translates to an annual increase of less than 0.3 per cent, before accounting for costs such as stamp duty and registration charges.
The sale price works out to about INR 52,100 per sq ft of carpet area, or about INR 43,400 per sq ft of built-up area. In comparison, the 2016 purchase price corresponds to about INR 50,700 per sq ft of carpet area.
Goregaon West, where the unit is located, is a mixed-use neighbourhood in Mumbai’s western suburbs, with connections to the Western Express Highway, SV Road, and Link Road, as well as Goregaon railway station and the Mumbai Metro. The area is close to landmarks such as Inorbit Mall, Film City, and Aarey Forest.
Dadlani is known for his work in playback singing, independent music, and film soundtracks, and has lent his vocals to several Hindi cinema songs. He is also a composer and songwriter, and is one half of the composer duo Vishal–Shekhar, with Shekhar Ravjiani.
Property registration records, which are accessible through the Maharashtra Inspector General of Registration website, are used by real estate data firms to track high-profile transactions in Mumbai. The Dadlani sale was reported alongside other celebrity property deals, including singer Sonu Nigam’s purchase of two Andheri offices for INR 16 crore.
